On December 3rd at 1:15A.M, and again on December 8th at 2:30A.M., the Plattsburgh Police Department received complaints from male victims who reported being robbed while walking home from downtown. The first robbery location was in the Clinton County Government Center parking lot near Cornelia Street and the second was in the roadway near the intersection of Cornelia Street and Addoms Place. In both cases, the victims were walking alone when they were assaulted and had their wallets stolen. No weapons were displayed.

City Police Detectives have been investigating leads since that time and were able to identify suspects in this case. On Thursday, December 17th, 2009, the two suspects were located, questioned, and subsequently arrested for the robberies.

Arrested were BRANDON S. STONE (21yrs) of 233 Margaret Street, Plattsburgh and GUY C. DEWEEVER (21yrs) of Brooklyn, NY recently of 58 Miller Street Plattsburgh. They have each been charged with 2 counts of Robbery 2nd degree (C Felony) and 1 count of Assault 2nd degree (D Felony).

They were held overnight in the city lockup and will be arraigned in City Court this morning.
